Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Premier Placentia Concrete, concreteplacentia.com, quotes@concreteplacentia.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Premier Placentia Concrete website and any estimate or work we give you. When you use the site, ask for an estimate or book a job with us, you agree to these terms.

If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. When a written estimate or contract we both sign says something different from this page, the signed document wins for that job.

What we do

Premier Placentia Concrete is a concrete contractor in Placentia, CA. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, pool decks, retaining walls, footings and foundations, and we do decorative and stamped concrete and concrete cutting for homes and businesses in Placentia and the cities around it. We're fully licensed and insured. You can read more about our crew on the About page.

Our service pages describe the work in general terms so you know what to expect. Your job is defined by the written estimate or contract for it. That document lists the scope, the materials and the finish, and it carries more weight than anything general on this site.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free, done on site and carry no obligation. We give you a written price after we've seen the job, because size, access, removal of old concrete, the condition of the subgrade, which is the soil and base the slab sits on, and the finish you choose all move the cost.

An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material and labor costs may have changed, so we may need to update it before we schedule.

Some conditions only show up once the old slab is out, such as soft or wet soil, roots, or buried pipes and lines. When that happens, we stop, show you what we found and explain the cost to fix it. We don't do extra work or add charges until you approve the change in writing.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

The start date we give you is our best target, not a promise. Rain, heat, material deliveries and the time a permit takes can push a pour, and we'll move a pour date rather than place concrete in conditions that weaken it.

New concrete needs time to cure, which means it has to sit and harden before anyone walks or drives on it. We'll tell you how long to stay off your new slab. Keeping people, pets and cars off it during that time is your responsibility, because early traffic can mark or crack it.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell us as soon as you can by phone or through the contact page. If we've already ordered materials or set aside crew time, your written contract says what's owed.

Your part of the job

We need clear access to the work area on the scheduled days, including room for equipment and a concrete truck when the job calls for one. Please tell us about sprinkler lines, buried utilities, drainage problems you've noticed, and pets or gates we should know about before we start.

Some concrete work needs a permit from the city where the property sits. Whether your job needs one, and who applies for it, is settled before work starts and written into your contract. If you're unsure, ask your city's building department.

Payment

Deposit amounts, progress payments and the final due date are set out in your written contract. Please pay as agreed, using the methods listed there.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made, and we can use the remedies California law gives contractors. We'd always rather talk it through first, so call us if something comes up.

Warranties and what concrete does

The only warranty on your work is the one written in your contract, with the terms and time period it states. If your contract has no written warranty, we make no promise beyond what California law requires.

Concrete shrinks as it dries, so some cracking is normal. We cut control joints, which are planned grooves in the slab, so that most cracks form there instead of across the open surface. Hairline cracks, small color differences between pours and normal wear aren't defects.

Damage from things outside our control isn't covered. That includes tree roots, soil movement, heavy vehicles the slab wasn't built for, de-icing or harsh chemicals, and later work by others.

The information on this website is general and offered as is. It isn't engineering advice for your property, and we don't warrant that the site is free of errors or always available.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses tied to our work or this website, such as lost use of your property, lost income or the cost of temporary arrangements.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing on this page takes away rights you have under California law that can't be waived.

Resolving a problem

If you're unhappy with something, call us at (657) 226-2480 or reach us through the contact page and tell us what you're seeing. We'll come look at it, because most problems are easier to settle on site than over the phone.

If we can't work it out between us, we both agree to try mediation before going to court. Any lawsuit that follows will be filed in the courts of Orange County, California.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time. The version posted here when you use the site or sign a contract with us is the one that applies.

Changes to this page won't alter the terms of a contract you've already signed with us.
